I Announce My Solidarity With The Iranian Alternative & Its’ Gathering In Paris

I announce my solidarity with the Iranian alternative and its’ Gathering in Paris
On the eve of the Iranian Grand Gathering in Paris, some other political and social figures in Europe gave their support to the event.
Lord , a British MP announced his solidarity with the Iranians’ Gathering in Paris.
Lord Carlile:
I send my greetings to the Gathering in Paris, I’m sorry that I cannot be there with you. The Gathering is a very important event for the community of the NCRI and it is particularly important at this critical time in relations between the West and the government of Iran. It is extremely important that we should send out a clear message that the human rights situation in Iran remains wholly unacceptable and that we condemn the way in which so-called justice system in Iran operates. This is in my view a separate matter from the nuclear deal which has proved so controversial recently. In my view, all governments should treat the issue of human rights in Iran both historically and currently as a freestanding issue upon which are appropriate and strong representation should be made by governments around the world to ensure Justice is brought to the people of Iran in due course. Of course, we hope for there to be a democratic government in Iran and we hope that the NCRI will be part of that democratic government but that may be a little bit ahead. For the time being, we must be careful but first to be insured but policy towards Iran by all Western governments is seen to be tough and seem to be realistic as well and is part of a strong drive towards an eventual regime change. I hope one day to be able to walk on the streets of a democratic Iran.

ITALIAN SENATE SUPPORTS THE IRANIAN PEOPLES’ UPRISING AND THE NCRI

By INU Staff
INU -A statement declaring support for Iranian people’s uprising, and their continued resistance for freedom and democracy, was issued by the Italian senate majority in the run up to the Iranian Grand Gathering in Paris on June 30, 2018. European countries and the international community have been called on to take a tough stance on the Iranian regime, and condition further
relations with the Iranian regime on it ending torture, execution, terrorism, its missile program, and its interference in the region.
Eleven board members signed the statement, including one deputy chairman, two moderators, and eight secretaries of the Italian senate.
The statement is reproduced below:
It’s nearly four decades now that the religious dictatorship ruling Iran has been denounced for its continuous and gross violation of human rights. More than 120,000 of Iranian defenders of democracy and human rights along with some of their family members have been arbitrarily detained, put under barbaric tortures and even executed. More than 30,000 political prisoners were massacred in the summer of 1988 only for their objection to the religious dictatorship and support for the NCRI opposition movement. Amnesty International has referred to the massacre as a crime against humanity, calling for the perpetrators to be brought to justice. According to the UN reports, the Iranian regime is the world’s record holder of per capita execution rate.
Despite such oppression, however, the world witnessed a new wave of Iranian people’s uprisings and protests throughout January 2018, which soon spread to more than 140 cities across the country. Iranian people’s nationwide slogans, including “moderates, conservatives, the game is over”, “down with Khamenei and Rouhani”, “not Gaza, not Lebanon, my life only goes to Iran” and “let go of Syria, think of us”, clearly show their demand for regime change and termination of regime’s terrorism and warmongering in regional countries.

LOBBY TERRIFIED OF THE NATIONAL

By INU Staff
INU - We know that the Iran lobby is terrified of the Iranian Resistance. We can see this in their constant attempts to slander dissidents through any means necessary in order to keep the Iranian Regime in power. But the reason why may surprise those who only hear about Iran through cable news.
Simply, the Iranian Resistance is unique among forces that seek to remove dictatorships from power. It not only advocates for regime change, but also represent the viable alternative to the mullahs.
Most revolutions fail because there is no stable government in place to take over, leading to chaos. The Iranian Resistance has formed a government-in-exile made up of several dissident groups (collectively known as the National Council of Resistance of Iran or NCRI) and it has working relationships with many of the world’s governments.
The NCRI is ready and willing to take over the governing of Iran when the mullahs fall until a free and fair election can be held - the NCRI estimates six months for this. They have already published the majority of their to-be-implemented laws, including the abolition of the death penalty and the disbanding of the military nuclear programme, so the world knows what to expect.
The Iran lobby needs to discredit the Resistance because they have a vested interest in the Regime’s existence and they know that the Resistance will provide regime change sooner or later.
Trita Parsi of the National Iranian American Council has dedicated much of his life to promoting the idea of a moderating force within the Regime. Of course, there has been no moderation from the Regime in the past 40 years, so why would we expect it now?

MARYAM RAJAVI’S PLAN FOR FREE IRAN

By INU Staff
INU - As the anti-regime uprising in Iran continues, it seems more and more likely that that Iranian people will overthrow the mullahs and bring freedom and democracy to Iran. This is no longer a possibility, it is the inevitable outcome and it is only a question of when.
Many people in the international community support the Iranian people in their desire for regime change, but are concerned about where this leaves Iran. After all, there have been many cases of regime change in countries across the world that have succeeded in ousting one dictator only to be left with another or split by several warring factions.
uckily, this is not a problem in Iran. The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) is a coalition of pro-democracy dissident groups, which is ready and willing to serve as a transitional government for six months after the mullahs fall. That’s just enough time to institute a new constitution and prepare for the country’s first free and fair elections.
The NCRI has support from the majority of Iranians, but it also enjoys a working relationship with many parliaments around the world – currently serving as Iran’s parliament-in-exile. They are prepared to change Iran for the better. NCRI President-elect Maryam Rajavi has even laid out that vision in a ten-point plan for a Free Iran. Let’s look at that now.

Unemployment and Its Relation to Iran’s Recent Protests and Uprising

NCRI Staff
NCRI - At its starting point, Iran’s recent uprising kicked off on December 28, 2017, with such slogans like ‘Death to high prices’ and ‘Death to unemployment’ and quickly turned into “Death to the Dictator and Death to Khamenei” and the request for “ Regime Change” as the one and only solution to all the problems.
Concerning the economic aspect of the protests it is notable that the dimensions and depth of the country’s unemployment has grown so much that there are lots of graduates who despite their high level of expertise are involved in such irrelevant jobs like laboring and working as an errand boy in shops, which is even more astonishing -- and of course more heart-rending -- than the country’s unemployment problem itself.
In this regard, a new report on unemployment, its dimensions and different types was recently aired on state TV that is worth mentioning here.
In the report, the TV presenter interviews workers who despite holding bachelor’s or doctorate degrees -- and in some cases even with national and international scientific Olympiad medals under their belt -- have to work as construction workers, guards or doormen as there’s no job relevant to their fields of study and they know no one to pull some strings for them, either.
300 applicants with university degrees responded to a state TV employment ad. The report airs phone conversations with some of the applicants as well as an in-person interview with a young, male job seeker. In the interview, the young applicant is informed that he can only be offered a dish-washing job, and is asked if he’s willing to take that job. After a little bit of hesitation, the young man with a Master’s degree gives a positive answer. He even doesn’t hold back when he finds out that he’s been filmed. Instead, he first protests a little and then asks the correspondent if he can arrange his employment somewhere.
“I’ve taken part in entrance exams of ministries, embassies, and state broadcasting organization, but I couldn’t get hired since I knew no one to pull some strings for me”, says the young applicant. The correspondent then agrees with the applicant’s request.

Newt Gingrich: The Iranian regime is doomed to fall and the resistance is having an impact

In a meeting in Paris, Jan. 19, 2018, former US House Speaker Newt Gingrich expressed his support for the Iranian people’s uprising and for the organized resistance under the NCRI

Before its news.com, January 21, 2018 - The prominent Republican and former presidential candidate was addressing a meeting with representatives of Iranian communities from Europe, which was held at the NCRI ’s headquarters in a northern suburb of Paris.
Maryam Rajavi , the President-elect of the NCRI, addressed the meeting, titled “Regime change in Iran.”
The meeting took place in the wake of a popular uprising that erupted in Iran on December 28. According to the network of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (MEK), the NCRI’s main constituent group, the protests rapidly spread to 142 cities across the country. The MEK network reported that some 50 protesters were killed and at least 8,000 were detained. A growing number of are found to have been tortured to death.
In his speech on January 9, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei said, “These incidents had been organized.” The MEK implemented the plans. He added, “The MEK had prepared for this months ago” and “the MEK’s media outlets had called for it.”

WHY WE NEED REGIME CHANGE IN IRAN

NCRI - In recent weeks, we have noticed a spike in news about Iran and explicitly what is called Iran Deal, both from mainstream outlets and right-wing advocacy groups. Why is all of thi approaching, a law that requires the prs happening now? Because October 15 isesident to inform Congress every 90 days that Iran is complying with the deal AND several other subjective criteria that, while related to the nuclear deal,
are actually broader than what Iranian regime committed to under the deal.
This is the deadline experts are worried about. Facts are indicative of Trump refusing to issue a certification of compliance and the start of a new phase in relation with Iranian regime.

Tom Ridge the first Homeland Security Secretary and17 professionally looks beyond the immediate trend of events and points to some serious  a Governor of Pennsylvania in his article, published in the ‘Newsweek’ on October 7, 20and real essentials which are vitally important to be taken into consideration while setting the Iran policy. The following is the full text of this article.

THE NEW U.S. POLICY ON IRAN

NCRI - It is being reported that the new US policy on Iran will address several of the most worrying threats posed by the Regime, including their nuclear , their destruction of the Middle East and their personal terror squad, the Revolutionary Guards.Donald Trump approved this plan, which takes an aggressive approach to countering Iran, just before the opening of the UN General Assembly, last month.
Eli Lake wrote on Bloomberg: “It will include a new emphasis on countering Iranian networks inside Latin America; Iran's development of ballistic missiles; Iranian human rights violations against its own citizens; and support for terrorist groups and proxies in the Middle East.”
Nuclear Deal
At a press conference on Wednesday, October 4, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson told reporters that he would be presenting many options to Trump regarding the mid-October certification deadline for the nuclear agreement.
The US also plans to use the leverage of Trump’s threats against the nuclear deal (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action) to encourage US allies who have also signed up to the pact to address the deal’s flaws.

STATEMENT BY BRITISH MPS, ON THE1988 MASSACRE OF POLITICAL PRISONERS IN IRAN

A delegation from the Iranian Resistance participated in the conference and met with the Representatives of the House of Commons and British Lords of the Liberal Democratic Party andd the perpetuation of human rights violations in Iran and continued executions a number of its leaders and discusse, in particular the execution of women and youths.
More than 30 representatives from the Liberal Democrats in both houses in British parliament issued a statement supporting the call by the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, Maryam Rajavi, calling for an end to the immunity of the Iranian authorities responsible for the 1988 massacre of 30,000 political prisoners.

Senior U.S. Senate Delegation Meets with NCRI President-elect Rajavi

In a move that must frustrate the Iranian regime and its mullahs, the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) President-elect Maryam Rajavi hosted a senior Senate delegation from the United States on August 12, 2017. The meeting was held in the Albanian capital of Tirana. During the gathering, the two groups discussed the current situation of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) in Albania, the latest developments in Iran and the Middle East, and solutions to end the current crisis sweeping that region.
The Senate delegation was comprised of Senators Roy Blunt, Vice President of the Republican Conference, and member of the Appropriation, Select Intelligence, Rules and Administration, and Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committees; John Cornyn, the Majority Whip, and a member of the Judiciary, Select Intelligence, and Finance committees; and Thom Tillis, a member of the Armed Services, Judiciary, Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs and Veterans’ Affairs committees.
The meeting was initiated by Senator Roy Blunt, who led the delegation in congratulating the MEK for the safe and secure relocation of all Camp Liberty residents out of Iraq. They also wished the group well in its efforts to secure democracy and human rights in Iran.

WHY IS TEHRAN TERRIFIED OF US SENATORS MEETING WITH THE IRANIAN OPPOSITION?

Sens. Roy Blunt, R-Mo., John Cornyn, R-Texas, and Thom Tillis, R-N.C., met with National Council of Resistance of Iran President Maryam Rajavi and members of the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran. Rajavi thanked the senators for their firm position toward Iran, especially the adoption of new sanctions against the ruling regime and the Revolutionary Guards for their human rights abuses, Iran's ballistic missile program, and the export of terrorism.

The Iranian regime has constantly tried to downplay the role and influence of the opposition coalition, the National Council of Resistance of Iran, and its main constituent, the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), by portraying them as marginal and insignificant. Yet, its mainstream media and top officials are constantly betraying the regime's real feelings and fear of the group.
The latest episode came after U.S. senators visited the organization's headquarters in Tirana, Albania. Sens. Roy Blunt, R-Mo., John Cornyn, R-Texas, and Thom Tillis, R-N.C., met with NCRI President Maryam Rajavi and members of the MEK, and discussed the latest developments in Iran and the Middle East as well as solutions to end the current crisis in that region.
Rajavi thanked the senators for their firm position toward Iran, especially the adoption of new sanctions against the ruling regime and the Revolutionary Guards for their human rights abuses, Iran's ballistic missile program, and the export of terrorism.
Less than a day later, dozens of mainstream media outlets representing all factions and branches of the Iranian regime expressed concern about the lawmakers' visit, calling it a provocative move meant to cause instability in Iran.
The visit comes as the Trump administration is reviewing its policy toward Iran's nefarious activities, and cabinet officials have hinted at supporting regime change, a goal that the MEK and NCRI have been calling for since 1981.
The Iranian regime and its backers in the West try to portray support for regime change as a path that will lead to another military invasion in the region, and a possible repeat of the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts. However, the NCRI believes that the Iranian people and their resistance movement are fully capable of achieving regime change without the need for a foreign intervention.

Iran: The Lives of the Political Prisoners on Hunger Strike in Danger

The Iranian Resistance expresses grave concern over the health and security of political prisoners on hunger strike in solitary confinement of ward 4 in Gohardasht Prison of Karaj, west of Tehran. All international human rights organizations, especially the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights and the Special Rapporteur of Human Rights in Iran, Special Rapporteur on Torture are called upon to take urgent action to save the lives of these political prisoners.

Misters Abolqassem Fouladvand, Hassan Sadeghi, Saeed Masouri, Reza Akbari Monfared, Jafar Eqdami, Amir Qaziyan, Khaled Heradani, Zaniyar and Loqman Moradi who are in solitary confinement. A number of other ward 4 prisoners, including Misters Mohammad Banazadeh Amir Khizi, Pirouz Mansouri, Majid Assadi and Payam Shakiba are amongst the inmates who are also on hunger strike protesting repressive measures against ward 4 political prisoners in Gohardasht Prison. The authorities have banned these political prisoners from any family visits and placed them under pressures to end their hunger strikes.
The protesting political prisoners are amongst the inmates of hall 12 of ward 4 in Gohardasht Prison who were attacked on Sunday, July 30, insulted and beaten by prison guards, and forcefully transferred to hall 10 of this ward (NCRI Statement – August 1). Prison authorities have deprived these political prisoners of minimum hygiene products and decent clothing.
The religious fascism ruling Iran exerts its authority through executions, torture and detentions. Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and President Hassan Rouhani, with his “moderate” mask, are two sides of this medieval regime’s coin.
Senior Iranian regime officials must be placed before justice for their continuous and increasing crimes against the Iranian people. Any relation with Tehran must hinge on the mullahs’ improving the disastrous human rights situation and releasing all political prisoners without any preconditions.

ANALYSIS: Congress is taking the lead on Iran policy

Special to Al Arabiya EnglishMonday, 14 August 2017
A visit by a high-profile delegation of American Senators to Albania, home to members of the Iranian opposition, is sending major signals and messages to Tehran about growing consensus in Washington over the necessity to adopt regime change policy in the face of the mullahs’ belligerence.
The Senate delegation consisted of Senators Roy Blunt, Vice President of the Republican Conference, and member of the Appropriation, Select Intelligence, Rules and Administration, and Commerce, Science, and Transportation committees; John Cornyn, the Majority Whip, and a member of the Judiciary, Select Intelligence, and Finance committees; and Thom Tillis, a member of the Armed Services, Judiciary, Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs and Veterans’ Affairs committees.
The delegation met with Iranian opposition Maryam Rajavi, President of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) in Tirana, discussing recent developments in the Middle East and Iran’s menacing role.
“Maryam Rajavi thanked the Senators for their decisive position vis-à-vis the Iranian regime, especially the adoption of a new resolution which imposed sanctions on the clerical regime and the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) for human rights abuses, the ballistic missile program, and the export of terrorism. She expressed gratitude for the efforts of the U.S. Senate, particularly Senator Blunt, regarding the protection of thousands of MEK members in Camp Liberty, Iraq, and their safe relocation to Albania,” according to a NCRI statement.

US SANCTIONS OPEN PATH FOR IRANIAN OPPOSITION

By INU Staff
INU - US lawmakers enacted a comprehensive sanction bill and designated the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a Specially Designated Global Terrorists (SDGT).Targeting Tehran’s military and terrorist arm is a t signal that US policy has shifted against Iran’s destabilizing role in region. It acts as a facilitator for change in of Iran, but the main factor for change is inside Iran.
Iran will be put in a situation where it will have to make an ultimate decision with the adoption of (IRGC) sanction bill. Iran is experiencing widespread social dissatisfaction, economic and other serious crises. Maximizing pressure at this time may be the best course. Still, Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, declared changing the regime’s behavior will ultimately bring the regime down, but meanwhile, the Iranian people are keen towards overthrowing this regime. The social conditions in Iran have become untenable and the opposition movement has the potential and an upper hand.
In its July 31, 2017 issue, The Resalat daily, a state-run paper, pointed to the change in the international affairs towards the Iranian regime, “Behind the sanctions belies a boycott campaign. There will be an overthrowing in a soft, sophisticated and silent way.”
Chairman of the Guardian Council, Ahmad Jannati, also raised concerns. “[Khamenei’s] most important concern is the fear of overthrow,” and “the enemy is seeking regime change from within,” he said.
In Iran there is an organized democratic and powerful opposition. The National Council of Resistance of Iran, a democratic platform which the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) is a powerful force. The NCRI demonstrated its strength and abilities on July 1st by gathering hundreds of thousand supporters, all seeking regime change, at its annual rally in Paris.
The NCRI has demanded a boycott in international diplomatic and economic relations, the expulsion of Iranian regime representatives from international assemblies, and that the IRGC and affiliated proxies be evicted from the region.
US Secretory of States Rex Tillerson recently insisted on cooperation with Russia to tackle terrorism and end the Syria war. “Iran’s military influence, the direct presence of Iranian military forces inside of Syria, they must leave and go home, whether those are Iranian Revolutionary Guard forces or whether those are paid militias, foreign fighters that Iran has brought into Syria” he said.
Support of the NCRI and pressure through extensive sanctions may be the only means to have peace and stability in Iran and the Middle East. The NCRI issued a statement welcoming the new law imposing sanctions against Iran and the Revolutionary Guards, in fact, NCRI President-elect Maryam Rajavi underscored these sanctions must be implemented immediately against all individuals and entities involved in executing and torturing the Iranian people, especially those directly involved in the 1988 massacre of over 30,000 political prisoners.
Mrs. Rajavi stated that the people’s right of resistance for regime change must be recognized, and that this will ultimately result in stability and peace in the region.

MEK/PMOI Popularity Threat to Iranian Regime's Existance

By: Jubin Katiraie
For many associated with the Iranian lobby and appeasers of the clerical regime in Tehran, the best way to prop up the regime is to discredit any alternative options presented to the international community. In addition, the lobby and appeasers continue to stress that regime change will lead to war. As an example, they point to the struggles of the Iraq government since the removal of Saddam by the U.S. and its allies.
However, history teaches us that any regime’s existence is limited when it begins with a violent upheaval. The current Iranian regime was born out of a revolution to end the rule of the Shah, but that revolution’s goal was to create a secular, pluralistic, and democratic Iran. However, the mullahs hijacked the revolution, creating a theocracy and suppressing any alternative political voices, including the MEK/PMOI.
Instead, to consolidate their power, the Iranian regime has relied on the typical tools of oppression, including the creation of a paramilitary and judiciary system that touches every section of Iranian society. The regime, using its lobby and appeasers, have been quick in attacking any publication or personalities that dare to speak up about the quest of the Iranian people to achieve their original dream of a democratic Iran.
Anyone who dares to talk about “regime change” is targeted for repressive measures. The MEK/PMOI have been high on the regime’s list, since the MEK/PMOI are the most dedicated and organized opposition with extensive routes and support at home, with the ability to materialize regime change.
The people’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) has been the subject of propaganda campaigns by the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS) at home and by regime lobbies and appeasers throughout the international community. This campaign is focused on discrediting the MEK/PMOI, by saying there is no democratic alternative to the Iranian regime and that regime change will result in war and increased instability within the region.
But why is the MEK/PMOI being targeted so directly? The MEK/PMOI is the oldest, largest, and most popular resistance movement within Iran. They form the core of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), which is a coalition of opposition groups from all sectors of Iran. The PMOI/MEK was founded in September 1965 by three Iranian engineers who wanted to replace the Shah’s dictatorship with a democracy.
